White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

Soft and chewy cookies packed with creamy white chocolate and tangy dried cranberries, baked until golden with crisp edges and tender centers.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips and dried cranberries.
  7. Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing evenly.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a rack.

Notes

  • For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 20 minutes before baking.
  • Slightly underbake for a softer center.
  • Press a few extra chocolate chips on top before baking for a bakery-style look.
