Iced Brown Sugar Latte

This iced brown sugar latte is the perfect blend of bold espresso, rich brown sugar syrup, and creamy milk poured over ice. A cool and cozy café-style drink you can make at home in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 3/4 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar and water. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, stirring often. Remove from heat.
  2. Brew espresso or strong coffee.
  3. Stir the brown sugar syrup and optional vanilla extract into the hot espresso.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  5. Pour the sweetened espresso over the ice.
  6. Slowly add milk over the espresso and let it swirl naturally.
  7. Stir gently and serve immediately, with optional garnish.

Notes

  • Use oat or almond milk for a dairy-free version.
  • Make extra brown sugar syrup and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
  • Large ice cubes help prevent quick dilution.
