Hot Chocolate Bombs

Magical chocolate spheres filled with rich cocoa mix and mini marshmallows, Hot Chocolate Bombs are the ultimate winter treat that melt into a comforting cup of cocoa.

Ingredients

  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips: 2 cups
  • Hot cocoa mix: 6 tablespoons
  • Mini marshmallows: ½ cup
  • White chocolate chips (for drizzle): ½ cup
  • Holiday sprinkles or edible glitter: as needed

Instructions

  1. Warm a clean plate in the microwave or a skillet over low heat for sealing the shells.
  2. Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  3. Using a spoon or brush, coat silicone mold cavities with melted chocolate. Chill for 10 minutes and apply a second coat.
  4. Once set, remove shells carefully. Fill half with cocoa mix and mini marshmallows.
  5. Press the edge of an empty shell on the warm plate, then seal it over a filled half. Smooth seam if needed.
  6. Drizzle with melted white chocolate and add sprinkles. Let set completely.
  7. To serve, place in a mug and pour hot milk over the bomb. Stir and enjoy!

Notes

  • Work in small batches to keep chocolate melted.
  • Use gloves to avoid fingerprints.
