Grilled Steak

Juicy, smoky, and full of flavor, this grilled steak recipe delivers steakhouse quality right from your backyard or stovetop. Perfectly seared on the outside and tender on the inside, it’s quick, easy, and packed with bold spices.

Ingredients

  • 2 large ribeye steaks (about 1 to 1.5 inches thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to high heat (450 to 500°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mix on both sides of the steak.
  3. Lightly oil the grill grates or pan surface to prevent sticking.
  4. Place steaks on the grill and add rosemary sprigs beside them if using.
  5. Grill each side for 4 to 5 minutes for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
  6. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice against the grain, serve, and enjoy with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Bring steak to room temperature before grilling for even cooking.
  • Use a thermometer for perfect doneness every time.
  • Resting the steak helps retain juices and enhances flavor.
