Gingerbread Latte

This cozy Gingerbread Latte blends molasses, warm spices, and creamy milk for a festive homemade version of the holiday favorite. Perfectly sweet, spiced, and comforting.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 to 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Cinnamon or nutmeg (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Warm your mug with hot water and prep your frother or steamer.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the milk, molasses, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Heat until hot but not boiling.
  3. Prepare your espresso or brew strong coffee.
  4. Pour the hot coffee into the warmed mug.
  5. Add the spiced milk mixture to the mug. Froth if desired.
  6. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy the cozy vibes.
