Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Potatoes

Juicy garlic butter steak bites paired with golden pan roasted potatoes, all cooked in one skillet for a rich, comforting, and satisfying meal that feels special but is easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak, cut into bite sized cubes
  • 1.5 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat until hot.
  2. Season the steak bites with salt and black pepper and set aside.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and place the potatoes cut side down.
  4. Cook the potatoes, turning occasionally, until golden and tender, then remove from the skillet.
  5. Add the steak bites to the same skillet in a single layer and sear until browned on all sides.
  6. Lower the heat and add butter and minced garlic, stirring gently.
  7. Return the potatoes to the skillet and toss everything together until coated in garlic butter.
  8. Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the skillet to ensure proper browning.
  • Add garlic at the end to prevent burning.
  • Let the steak rest briefly before serving for best texture.
