Garlic Butter Shrimp Skewers

Juicy garlic butter shrimp skewers that cook quickly and bring rich flavor with every bite. Bright citrus, melted butter, and fresh herbs make this a simple and crowd pleasing dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
  2. Toss shrimp in the mixture until fully coated.
  3. Thread the shrimp onto skewers.
  4. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium high heat and lightly oil the surface.
  5. Grill shrimp skewers for 2 to 3 minutes per side until pink, opaque, and lightly charred.
  6. Brush with extra garlic butter while hot.
  7. Serve warm with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

  • Do not overcook shrimp or they will become rubbery.
  • Soak wooden skewers if using to prevent burning.
  • Add chili flakes for a spicy kick if desired.
