Crispy, spicy, and absolutely addictive, these buffalo cauliflower wings are the perfect meatless alternative for game day or snack time.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-size florets
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley or green onion for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and milk until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, add panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each cauliflower floret in the batter, let excess drip off, then roll in breadcrumbs to coat.
  5. Place florets on the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Mix buffalo sauce with olive oil in a small bowl.
  7. Remove cauliflower from oven, toss in sauce, and return to oven for 10 more minutes.
  8. Garnish with parsley or green onion and serve with your favorite dip.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper for easy cleanup and better crisping.
  • For extra crunch, spray wings lightly with oil before baking.
  • Adjust buffalo sauce to taste for more or less heat.
