Choco-Banana Crepe Rolls

Soft chocolate crepes wrapped around sweet banana slices, topped with caramel drizzle. These Choco-Banana Crepe Rolls are the perfect blend of indulgent and simple.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 medium bananas
  • Caramel sauce, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients, and let the batter rest for 15 minutes.
  3. Pour a ladleful of batter into the hot skillet, swirling it to form a thin layer.
  4. Cook each crepe for 1–2 minutes per side until set. Set aside on a plate.
  5. Place a peeled banana at the edge of each crepe, roll it tightly, and slice if desired.
  6. Optional: Warm the filled rolls gently in the skillet for 1–2 minutes to seal them.
  7. Drizzle with caramel sauce and dust with powdered sugar if you like.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Let the batter rest to ensure smooth crepes.
  • Use firm bananas to avoid mushy rolls.
  • Don’t overfill the crepes for easier rolling.
  • Crepes can be made ahead and stored in the fridge.
