Beef Dumpling Skillet Hack

This Beef Dumpling Skillet Hack is a quick and flavor-packed meal that combines crispy pan-fried dumplings with savory beef, garlic, and scallions, all brought together in one sizzling skillet.

Ingredients

  • 12 to 14 frozen beef dumplings
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Set your skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil to coat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic, soy sauce, and part of the green onions.
  3. Cook beef in the skillet until browned, then push to one side.
  4. Place frozen dumplings in the skillet and let them sear for 2–3 minutes until golden on the bottom.
  5. Pour in water and cover to steam for 4–5 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Drizzle sesame oil, let moisture evaporate, and gently toss everything together.
  7. Top with remaining green onions and serve with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use a non-stick or cast-iron skillet for best crisping results.
  • Do not overcrowd the skillet or dumplings won’t brown properly.
  • Try adding chili oil or sesame seeds for extra flavor and texture.
  • Leftovers reheat best in a skillet to maintain crispness.
