Baked Salmon with Dill Sauce

Flaky, tender baked salmon topped with a creamy, zesty dill sauce. This dish is quick to prepare, packed with flavor, and perfect for weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Chill in the fridge.
  3. Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Pat dry and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Season each fillet with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add a lemon slice on top of each.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from oven, let rest briefly, then top with dill sauce.
  7. Garnish with extra fresh dill and serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Use fresh dill for the best flavor in the sauce.
  • Don’t overcook the salmon—watch it closely after 12 minutes.
  • The dill sauce can be made up to 2 days ahead and stored in the fridge.
